About Us
The Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage and inspire the Rio Grande Valley through live orchestral and ensemble performances, educational programs and community activities.
The Valley Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Peter Dabrowski, produces five major works concerts and the annual Education Concerts as part of the season. The Symphony Orchestra numbers between 70-80 professionally trained local musicians.
The annual Education Concerts give over 10,000 children across the Rio Grande Valley the chance to learn about the Valley Symphony Orchestra and classical music.
