About Us
Laguna Madre Veterans United is a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families in the Laguna Madre area. Founded by a board of local veterans and based in Laguna Vista, our mission is to connect, inform, and assist those who have served through a combination of community events, online resources, and personalized referrals to available services.
One of our cornerstone events is the Laguna Madre VetFest, a local favorite that has been successfully held in Port Isabel four times. Now organized by our team, VetFest continues to serve as a vital resource fair—bringing together veterans, service providers, and community partners in a welcoming and supportive environment. We're committed to creating lasting connections and ensuring every veteran in our area knows they are seen, valued, and supported.
